For over 35 years, our principals have invested in and transformed commercial real estate. Since 2010, we’ve restructured complex loans, such as CMBS, syndications, private credit, and balance sheet lending, and invested in securities, loans, and properties.
In the early 1990s, CASE partner and Superior Realty Group President Dov Rabinowitz took over a multifamily building fresh off a rent strike. Drawing on a rich real estate legacy from his attorney father and investor father-in-law, Dov has repositioned distressed assets acquired at depressed market prices, laying the groundwork for future breakthroughs.
Since 2003, Shlomo Chopp has pioneered PropTech, invested in assets, and, while navigating the aftermath of the Great Financial Crisis, founded Case Property Services to advise on distressed debt and asset turnarounds. In 2016, he merged CPS into Case Equity, leveraging Superior’s balance sheet to drive innovative solutions through principal property acquisitions.
Today, with over $5 billion in deals and advisory experience, CASE has attained its status as a premier authority in distressed commercial real estate and structured finance. Together, CASE and Superior boast $500 million in assets under management and ownership of over 60 properties across multifamily, retail, office, and industrial in the New York metro area and several other states.
